Fall fun set in Sandusky

SANDUSKY — With the fall season officially here, Destination Sandusky made people aware of many seasonal activities planned for the coming weeks. "From themed Sandusky Farmers Markets to Sandusky Witches' Walk, pet costume contests to citywide trick-or-treating, there's something fun for everyone," according to a statement. Here's a look at the calendar featuring some notable community-based events: Saturday, Sept. 27 • 11th-annual Blue Streak Pride 5K • Sandusky Farmers Market with Zammy Maa Saturday Oct. 4 • Save Your Pumpkins 5K • Sandusky Farmers Market with AC/Darcy Saturday, Oct. 11 • Sandusky Farmers Market with tarot card reading with Donna Bretz Saturday, Oct. 18 • Sandusky Witches' Walk • Sandusky Farmers Market with Neil Goetze Wednesday, Oct. 22 • Cedar Point trick-or-treat Saturday, Oct. 25 • Pet costume contest at the Sandusky Farmers Market • Little Witches Walk Parade • Downtown trick-or-treat • Cholera Cemetery Walk with the Sandusky Library Sunday, Oct. 26 • Trunk-or-treat at Sandusky Plaza Monday, Oct. 27 • Cholera Cemetery Walk with the Sandusky Library Friday, Oct. 31 • Citywide trick-or-treat, 5-7:30 p.m. People can learn more information by visiting facebook.com/downtownsandusky.
