Vineyard hosting free fall festival

WAKEMAN — Those with Vermilion Valley Vineyards, 11005 Gore Orphanage Road in Wakeman, invite people out to its upcoming Fall Festival event. It takes place from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday. "Help Vermilion Valley Vineyards celebrate the time of year they work hard to reach harvest season," according to an event statement. "As a working farm and vineyard, it takes year-round planning and labor to reach the goals," it read. "Vermilion Valley Vineyards wants to celebrate the success of the 2025 growing season with you." People can: • Leisurely shop around the pond and grounds with more than 30 vendors for vintage, homemade, handmade and homegrown goods; "Everything from breads, jellies, honey, plants, soaps, quilts, clothing, floral arrangements and more," the statement read. • Relax on the lawn with your own blanket or chairs and enjoy the food trucks, live music and estate wine • Participate in the Fall Festival photography contest for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate This family-friendly event has something for every member of your home, including face-painting and the second-annual touch-a-tractor event," it read.
