SANDUSKY — Blake Finneran shot a 40 to lead St. Mary Central Catholic to a tri-match win over Edison and Sandusky on Tuesday at Mills Creek Golf Course. The Panthers finished with a 172 while Edison tallied a 189. Sandusky didn't field a full team. Joey Finneran carded a 43 for SMCC while Pravir Gorty added a 44 and Jack Davis a 45. Owen Price led the Chargers with a 43 with Hayden Lewis shooting a 46. Mason Hermes shot a 48 for Edison. The match served as Sandusky's senior night as senior Paul Loomis finished with a 45 and senior Landen Ebeling tallied a 54. Dawson Headrick added a 53 for the Blue Streaks. Margaretta 178, Oak Harbor 190 SANDUSKY — Phinneus Headley's 41 led the Polar Bears to a non-league win over Oak Harbor at Wousickett Golf Course. Ayden Miller added a 43 for Margaretta while Keiygan Morris (46) and Jaxson Bohn (48) rounded out the scoring. Landon Ish topped the Rockets with a 41. Norwalk 177, Buckeye Central 179 NEW WASHINGTON — Emytt Graffice tallied a 42, pacing the Truckers to a close non-league win at Cranberry Hills Golf Course. Cohen Shoop added a 43 for Norwalk. Luke Metcalf and Caleb Thompson each carded a 46 for the Truckers. GIRLS GOLF Danbury 207, St. Paul 227 OAK HARBOR — Miranda Evans fired a 44, leading the Lakers to a non-league win over St. Paul at the Oak Harbor Golf Course. Ashley Lewis added a 50 for Danbury while Charley Lenthe shot a 56. Alia Bogard led the Flyers with a 50 while Aubrey Dilger carded a 53. Margaretta 212, Oak Harbor 266 SANDUSKY — Ellyse Schaefer shot a 45 as the Polar Bears rolled to the non-league win over Oak Harbor at Wousickett Golf Course. Ellaynah Schaefer tallied a 52 for Margaretta. Cassidy Lane finished with a 57 while Jenae Ferrell carded a 58 for the Polar Bears. VOLLEYBALL Danbury 3, Sandusky 0 LAKESIDE — The Lakers improved to 5-7 overall with a 25-23, 25-15, 27-25 Sandusky Bay Conference crossover win. Lauren Bergman led Danbury with 26 digs while Cali Wunder had 18 assists. Zoe Uhnick smacked nine kills for the Lakers. Huron 3, Clyde 0 CLYDE — The Tigers picked up a 25-18, 25-22, 25-18 Sandusky Bay Conference crossover win over the Fliers. Reece Hotz led Huron (8-3) with 25 assists and nine digs while Mya Smith topped the Tigers with 10 kills. Jenna Cox had 15 digs and Adelyn Van Sickle registered 12 digs. Brooklyn Hemminger lined nine kills for Clyde (3-9) while Amiyah Paul added eight kills. Kelsey Ray tallied 27 assists for the Fliers while Lucy Glass had 14 digs. Kaitlyn Turinsky added 13 kills for the Lady Red (10-3) while Calie Cramer had 10 kills. Ellie Freitag tallied 34 assists, Kate Baptista had 14 digs and six aces and Emma Krall added eight digs. Finley Karr dished 22 assists, Ella Brownell snagged 19 digs, Khloe West contributed 17 digs and eight kills and Adri Gill had 15 digs. Open Door Christian 3, Edison 1 ELYRIA — The Chargers dropped to 4-5 overall with the 25-15, 27-25, 23-25, 25-16 non-league loss. Taylor Moore had 20 digs and served eight points for Edison while Peyton Bissell tallied 18 assists and eight points. Paige McFadden tallied 11 assists for the Chargers. Stella Brown added nine digs, Ella Booth had seven points and six kills and Dana Preston lined six kills for Edison.
