SANDUSKY — Downtown Sandusky has some new flavor with the grand opening of Cheekz Burgers, 215 E Water St., in downtown Sandusky. This addition joins the downtown business district next door to Sweet Cheekz Cafe and Bistro. Both businesses are owned and operated by Tiffany Perry. Cheekz Burgers builds on the momentum Perry created with Sweet Cheekz, which opened in December and quickly gained a loyal following. Drawing on her background as a local barista and supported by her partner, Stephen Rucker, Perry is once again bringing energy and creativity to Sandusky's food scene. In the early weeks, she will be experimenting with menu options to discover customer favorites as the business establishes itself. Right now, beyond beef burgers, people can order appetizers, flatbreads and other dishes. "Cheekz is all about creating a bold, welcoming space with food people will love," Perry said. "I'm committed to putting in the hard work, supporting my team,and continuing to grow." Perry is also committed to her employees' success, making it a priority to rigorously train staff to ensure excellent customer service and smooth operations.
