BELLEVUE • Belleuve Fire Department and Ken Rospert organized a "Smoke a Bus" event. Bellevue Schools thanked Rospert and the fire department for hosting the event at the district's bus garage. The event helped district drivers receive hands-on training on what to do in emergency situations. • Vacationland Federal Credit Union donated to Bellevue Schools. Bellevue's elementary and middle schools received 188 backpacks and school supplies. • Bellevue's Freshman Transition Day was a success. ST. PAUL • Norwalk Catholic School classrooms, students and teachers received a blessing at the start of the school year. Fr. Travis, the new school chaplain, began blessing classrooms, students and teachers. SANDUSKY CENTRAL CATHOLIC SCHOOL • Sandusky Central Catholic School hosted a Meet the Teachers Night. CLYDE-GREEN SPRINGS • Clyde-Green Springs Schools' first grade teachers set up a photo backdrop for families to use during Open House. • McPherson Middle School hosted a Back to Class Bash. The event had volunteers from Croghan Colonial Bank, goats, and an announcement that the district joined the Stay in the Game attendance initiative in partnership with the Cleveland Browns football team. Kooper Garner, an eighth grade student, won three tickets to a preseason game.
