Vintage market returns on Sat.

SANDUSKY — An event specializing in historical, nostalgic and old-school items returns this weekend. The year's second Sandusky Vintage Market takes place from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday inside and around the Mylander Pavilion on Jackson Street Pier, 223 W. Shoreline Drive, in downtown Sandusky. Just like the last event in May, people can expect vendors — roughly 30 scheduled to appear this time around— to sell a wide variety of clothing, collectibles, memorabilia and more. "We're returning because of all the support we have gotten over the last year," event organizer Roni Minzer said. "This event is to promote sustainable shopping and boost small businesses." Among other reasons to attend, as explained by Minzer, there will be: • Food trucks on site • Tintype photos made available by Ricky Willis • Live airbrushing by lispgoblin "People should come to support the local small businesses that will be there," Minzer said. "We believe that small businesses do big things for communities and vice versa. The community's presence matters."
