Get revved up for Things That Go

FREMONT — Downtown Fremont Inc. will host the Croghan Colonial Bank Farmers Market and Total Distribution Things that Go Event. It takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday along Front Street in downtown Fremont. Attendance at the market will be free to the public. The Things that Go Event, sponsored by Total Distribution Inc., allows people, young and old, to get up close and personal with all of their favorite vehicles — or "things that go." "This event will feature plows, a dump truck, kayaks, a tow truck, an excavator, a garbage truck and much more," according to an event statement. "Come down to Downtown Fremont for great photo opportunities along with the chance to participate in an I Spy activity for a chance to win a Think Fremont Community Card good at more than 40 Fremont locations." This event will feature musical guest Brent Bliss, who will be performing country hits from the 1960s to today. Bliss will perform at the Great Lakes Community Action Partnership Building, 127 S. Front St., in downtown Fremont. From 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, people cannot park on Front Street between Croghan and Ewing streets. Garrison Street between Arch Street and Bidwell Avenue will also be closed, and there will be no parking in Lot A/Brady Parking Lot due to the Farmers Market & Things That Go Event.
