Museum hosting soft jazz concert

CLYDE — A soft jazz trio, the Chris Buzzelli Trio of the Toledo area, will perform at the Clyde Museum. The performance is set from 6-8:30 p.m. on Friday at the Clyde site, 124 W. Buckeye St. "It will be a relaxing evening of soft jazz music performed on the lawn of the museum," according to an event statement. "Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating on the front lawn or place a lawn chair on West Buckeye Street, as the street will be closed for the concert that evening." A food truck will be on-site, serving a variety of hot foods and cold drinks, including pulled pork sandwiches, burgers, french fries, mozzarella sticks, corn dogs, funnel cakes and more. While the concert is free, donations are encouraged but not required. "The concert will start at exactly 6 p.m., so please plan to arrive early to find a good seat," the statement noted. Parking will be available: • In the alleyway parking lots behind the museum by entering from Forest Street • On Main Street • Within the downtown plaza on Railroad Street • In the large parking lot at the offices of Edward Jones on the corner of West Buckeye and George streets This concert is sponsored by the Clyde Museum and the City of Clyde. If there is inclement weather, the concert will be relocated to the Hurd Room inside the museum. In this scenario, there will be limited seating.
