The Ida Rupp Public Library system is buzzing with activity this August, offering a wide variety of free programs for all ages at its Port Clinton, Marblehead and Erie Islands branches. Here are some featured events with statements provided by the system: At the Port Clinton branch, 310 Madison St. • Local Author Fair & Book Sale: 5:30-7 p.m. today — "Meet Ottawa County authors, browse their books and enjoy the Friends of the Library Book Sale. • Bridgerton Tea Party: 2-3 p.m. on Aug. 23 — "Dress up and sip tea in style at this themed afternoon event. Registration required." • Paint with Me: 5-6 p.m. on Aug. 25 — It's "a collaborative painting session for kids (K-12) and their grown-ups.
