Erie County Fair kicks off Monday

PERKINS TWP. — Back for another year and kicking off Monday, the Erie County Fair — 3110 Columbus Ave., Sandusky — provides area youth opportunities to participate in a variety of activities to enrich their lives. Presented by the Erie County Agricultural Society, the fair also exists to promote educational and agricultural interests within the county and give the community a place to come together socially. Traditional staples of the fair set to return this year include bounce houses, carnival games, beauty pageants, tractor pulls and demolition derbies in the grandstands, animal viewing, food and vendors, live music and entertainment and much more. The Erie County Fair takes place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, Aug. 10. Daily gate admission is free, but individual activities and attractions cost accordingly. Admission to grandstand events ranges from $5 to $20 while children under 40 inches tall are free. People can visit eriefair.com for more information. Want to go?
