2 new eateries on 250 open

PERKINS TWP. — In recent days, two new restaurants in the Sandusky area opened in plazas along Milan Road (U.S. 250): • Hong Xing Lou is located next to Clothes Mentor and Jimmy John's. "Hong Xing Lou is an Asian full-service restaurant with (a) focus on traditional Chinese dishes, including authentic Sichuan and Hunan style dishes; Japanese sushi; and noodle dishes," according to a company statement. "We find that (Ohio) 2 or even Perkins Township as a whole doesn't have a lot of authentic Asian options, so Hong Xing Lou is aiming to fill the void and serve the community the flavors of the East." • Wingstop is located next to Outback Steakhouse. "Wingstop is the destination when you crave fresh, never-faked wings, hand-cut seasoned fries and any of our famous sides," according to a company statement. "For people who demand flavor in everything they do, there's only Wingstop — because it's more than a meal, it's a flavor experience." Perkins Township officials, welcoming both businesses, look forward to the business they'll each bring. "These new additions introduce fresh dining options that are sure to appeal to both residents and visitors," said Arielle Blanca, the township's community development director. "In addition to offering great food, the restaurants positively contribute to the local economy by creating job opportunities and attracting more people to our area. We are thrilled to welcome these new establishments to our community."
