SANDUSKY — In a recently published Cedar Point blog post, the park revealed new details on the dining experiences arriving in 2019.BackBeatQueNear the Magnum XL-200 park entrance, and located near the former Witches Wheel site, will be BackBeatQue. The BBQ Smokehouse features a rock 'n' roll and Motown theme, offering freshly made smoked brisket, rotisserie chicken, pork platters and fresh perch alongside southern sides, like okra, cornbread muffins and house-made macaroni and cheese.An artist rendering provides an interior look of BackBeatQue, a new restaurant debuting this season at Cedar Point.The interior of BackBeatQue will feature an extensive theme, which is fitting for Cleveland's status as the birth of rock 'n' roll. Look for vintage artwork, creative light fixtures and details that will make any music enthusiast jealous.Guests will sit outside in a creative space featuring an area where live bands will perform throughout the season.Since our visit during Winter Chill Out, BackBeatQue signage is now up on the building, and work continues on the outside areas.BackBeatQue is a new restaurant debuting this season at Cedar Point.Hugo's Italian KitchenLocated near the front of Cedar Point, and adjacent to the Raptor roller coaster, is Hugo's Italian Kitchen.What are we most excited about? Cedar Point will be hand-making a variety of fresh pasta options right in the restaurant.
