CLYDE — Clyde-Green Springs recently accepted the retirements of eight longtime members of the district. The district's retirees are an "extraordinary group" who dedicated their careers and themselves to public education, according to superintendent Lucas Messer. This year's list of retirees includes counselors, teachers and administration. Messer said their collective commitment, passion and leadership shaped students through the years and helped define the district's culture of excellence. "Each of these individuals has not only served as educators and leaders but as mentors, role models and pillars of our school community," Messer said. "Through the years, they have inspired students to grow, guided colleagues with wisdom and supported our mission with integrity and heart. Their contributions reach far beyond classrooms and offices — they are etched into the very foundation of who we are as a district." It is "impossible to fully thank" this list of district staff departing from their education careers, according to Messer. But the district did extend a heartfelt appreciation for their service, the impact they made and for the legacy they have left behind. "The Clyde-Green Springs Schools are better because of their work, and they will always be part of our community," Messer said. "We wish them the very best in retirement—a well-earned season of rest, reflection and new adventures."
