A wonderful woodwind show

VERMILION — Many people attended and enjoyed the season's first Live at the Lighthouse event, a free summer concert series presented by the Vermilion Chamber of Commerce. On Sunday, the Fireland Woodwind Trio performed from Main Street Beach & Park near Vermilion's lighthouse. All future events occur from this downtown site. Described as "where music meets the lake, drop anchor at Main Street Beach and let the rhythm of Lake Erie set your soul sailing," according to an event statement. "Live at the Lighthouse is returning for another unforgettable season of free, lakeside concerts, and you're invited to soak up the sounds of summer in true Vermilion style," it continued. "Bring your lawn chairs, grab a bite from your favorite local eatery and settle in for breezy tunes, golden sunsets and unforgettable lake views. Here's a look at this year's lineup. All events take place from 7-8:30 p.m. on Sundays: • July 20 — The B.A.D.
