Browns to host eight free open practices

BEREA — The Cleveland Browns will host eight free open practices for fans at training camp later this month. Training camp practices will feature theme days for each respective open practice, highlighting local groups, organizations and providing specialized activities. The first open practice is at 2 p.m. Friday, July 25. The theme is Dawg Pound XL. "Our fans bring an element to the team that is unmatched, and we look forward to welcoming them at CrossCountry Mortgage Campus for eight practice sessions this training camp," said Haslam Sports Group Chief Marketing Officer Brent Rossi. "As we enter the 40th anniversary of the Dawg Pound, providing our fans with the best in-class is paramount to show our appreciation in why they are the best in the NFL." Other open practices will take place July 26 (9:30 a.m.), July 28 (2 p.m.), July 29 (2 p.m.), July 30 (9:30 a.m.), August 1 (2 p.m.), August 2 (9:30 a.m.) and August 4 (2 p.m.). Military Appreciation Day will be July 29 while Youth Football is the theme August 1. Browns Backers will take the spotlight August 2. The Browns will be implementing the NFL Clear Bag policy, matching its protocols for all games at Huntington Bank Field. Fans can enter training camp from the Beech Street entrance located on the south side of the training facility. Fans can download the Browns mobile app for up-to-date information throughout the season. The Browns will hold joint practices with the Carolina Panthers (Aug. 6-8) and the Philadelphia Eagles (Aug. 13-16). The Browns' only home preseason game is August 23 at 1 p.m. against the Los Angeles Rams. Cleveland kicks off the 2025 regular season at 1 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at home against the Cincinnati Bengals.
