Register rewards program gives subscribers deals

SANDUSKY — New enhancements to the Sandusky Register Member Rewards program means home delivery subscribers have access to deals across the country."With a minimal amount of effort, people can pay for their subscription several times over through the savings," Register circulation director Bill Ney said.The Register has had a member rewards program in place for years with dozens of local vendors offering deals. For instance, one reward includes $3 off any large pizza at East of Chicago. But changes to the program the past month have added national deals.Members can take advantage of deals on museums, entertainment tickets, amusement parks and hotels when they travel.Another deal is for Cedar Point, which is offering a preseason deal of Funday pass — includes one-day admission, parking and single meal deal — for $42. The price for nonmembers is more than $111.The member rewards page is on the top-right corner on the Register website homepage, at sanduskyregister.com. Subscribers need to log in to take advantage of the deals."If you're a paid Register subscriber you have full access to the member rewards as well as our e-paper for free," Ney said.
