'Souls' 'rooted' in area

LAKESIDE-MARBLEHEAD — Two businesses overseen by one owner recently celebrated a grand opening of this joint venture. Collectively known as Rooted Souls Wellness Sanctuary, those representing Root to Rise Wellness Bar and Soul Stretch Cycle Spin & Fitness Studio — including owner Rose Sabin — united to help community members out in getting and keeping a healthy lifestyle. It's located at 5826 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead, near the Beach Glass Lounge. "Congratulations to Rooted Souls Wellness Sanctuary on your ribbon cutting," according to a statement from the Ottawa County Improvement Corp. "This is a beautiful milestone for a space devoted to healing, growth and community. We look forward to the positive impact you'll continue to make." Each entity described what it offers: • Root to Rise Wellness Bar — "We offer cold pressed juices, smoothies and bowls, avo toasts, paninis, high protein snacks, salad bowls and more as well as handcrafted specialty coffee drinks and, coming soon, craft cocktails. We are an Ayurvedic (ancient Indian medical system) scratch kitchen dedicated to good health." • Soul Stretch Cycle Spin & Fitness Studio — "Come check out our new boutique fitness studio in Marblehead. Classes include yoga, spin, pilates, dance fit and barre flow. Drop-in or class passes apply. Class passes never expire, can be used for any class and can be shared with family and friends."
