$17K in scholarships awarded

BELLEVUE — A local financial institution recently granted scholarships to deserving graduates. Firelands Federal Credit Union announced the awarding of $17,000 in scholarships to outstanding high school seniors across the region as part of its 2025 Scholarship Program. The annual initiative reflects the credit union's ongoing commitment to education, community involvement and youth leadership. Recipients were selected based on their academic excellence, leadership qualities and dedication to community service. The awards include Member Scholarships, Team Scholarships, a Memorial Scholarship and a Sponsored Scholarship.
