Family fun night in Bellevue

BELLEVUE — Join your peers in an action-packed night of excitement. The Bellevue Holiday House and Events Committee invites families, runners and community members of all ages to Family Fun night on Friday, July 25, at Bellevue Central Park, 215 North St. This will feature a 5K run and a 1K youth race, as well as a full lineup of family-friendly activities, live entertainment and fireworks. The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with the 1K youth race for children 10 and under, followed by the 5K run at 6 p.m. Runners can compete for trophies and medals in various age divisions, with registration for the 5K priced at $20, which includes a custom-designed shirt for pre-registered participants. The youth race is a $5 entry fee with medals awarded to top finishers in multiple age groups. Beyond the races, attendees can enjoy: • Food trucks • Free inflatable activities for kids • Petting zoo • Train rides • Beer tent • Free outdoor concert by Rumours, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, from 7-10 p.m. • Fireworks show at 10 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the awards ceremony and concert will be moved indoors to the Bellevue Eagles 490, 215 E Main St. All proceeds benefit the Bellevue Holiday House and its community events.
