Registration is not required. • Toddler Day: From noon to 4 p.m. every Thursday, Ghostly Manor Thrill Center, 3319 Milan Road, will offer free admission to its skate and play areas for children 5 and under. In the summertime, every Thursday, a large group gathers in downtown Sandusky for a leisurely bicycle ride around the city. All levels of riders are encouraged to attend. Enjoy this Sandusky Summer concert staple every Thursday. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own seating and enjoy this weekly event. Party at the Pier is a program of the Greater Sandusky Partnership and is always free to attend. Experience electrifying nights with LED lights, lasers and high energy dance music spun by a live DJ. Dress in your favorite neon or glow-in-the-dark apparel. Jump passes start at $15, but there is no additional ticket cost to attend the Glow Party. Huron • Mustard Mondays: From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve and State Nature Preserve, located at 2514 Cleveland Road E. Help Stewardship staff remove invasive garlic mustard to help allow native plant species to grow and thrive. All gear provided, dress for the weather and meet at the visitor center. • Osborn MetroPark parkrun: Parkrun is a timed 5K walk/jog/run happening every Saturday at 9 a.m. at Osborn MetroPark, 3910 Perkins Ave. The event is free and open to all ages; people are welcome to bring their strollers or dogs. Registration is required and can be done at parkrun.us/register/. • Family Storytime: Every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., the Huron Public Library, 333 Williams St., will host storytime with Miss Melissa. THURSDAY Kelleys Island • Season Opener: From noon – 4 p.m., at Charles Herndon Galleries and Sculpture Garden, located at 110 Laylin Lane. Come check out Charles Herndon Galleries and Sculpture Garden's offerings for 2025. Opening day for glass blowing by Jackie Polofka with Double Dipped Studios, and metalsmithing demonstrations by Carmen Smith, with Textured by Carmen. Port Clinton • Ned Talks: From 4:30 – 6 p.m., at Shores and Island Ohio Welcome Center West, located at 770 S.E. Catawba Road. Join Matt for a shallow and muddy dive into the restoration of Lake Erie's coastal habitats, the science behind it, how you can help, and what the future holds. Fremont • Open Mic Night: From 6 – 9 p.m., at Fremont Community Amphitheater, located at 315 Garrison Street. Come bring your voice, instrument, poetry, or however you express yourself with like-minded others at the Fremont Community Amphitheater. This is a no registration required, and the event is free to attend. It will take place despite the weather, be sure to bring your cameras, chairs and blankets so you can relax and enjoy a wonderful evening of entertainment. SATURDAY Sandusky • All for Abs Color Dash: Beginning at 9 a.m., at Paper District Marina, located at 611 W. Shoreline Drive. Come join us for the 8th annual All for Abs Memorial 5k Color Dash in honor of 2016 Sandusky Central Catholic School graduate, Abigail Bastien. This will be the third year doing a Color Dash, which includes color stations on the course. Each runner will receive a race t-shirt and color powder. All proceeds raised will be placed in the Abigail Bastien Scholarship Fund, which is used to award two annual scholarships to a graduating SCCS and Perkins High School student athlete. Registration cost is $35. • Toast of Ohio Wine Festival: Beginning at noon – 9 p.m., at the Merry-Go-Round Museum, located at 301 Jackson Street. Celebrating 20 years, the annual Toast of Ohio Wine Heritage Festival will boast nine of the areas best wineries, food trucks, art and entertainment. Admission to the event, which includes five complimentary wine tastings, is $25, with the first 400 tickets sold getting a souvenir glass. Admission not including the souvenir glass is available for $20, and additional tasting tickets will be available. The Merry-Go-Round Museum will also be offering special admission of $5 during the festival from 11 a.m. - 4pm. • Father's Day Showdown: From 2 – 5 p.m., at Sandusky Mall Center Court, located at 4314 Milan Road. Enjoy a live professional wrestling event presented by American Luchacore. Great entertainment for all ages. There is no cost to attend. Huron • Summer Festival: From 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., at The Chef's Garden, located at 1517 Scheid Road. Come join Farmer Jones at The Chef's Garden for live music, face painting, food & craft vendors, yard games, and more. There is no cost to attend. Oak Harbor • Paddle at Magee: Beginning at 9 a.m., at Magee Marsh Wildlife Area, located at 13229 W. SR 2. Join H2Ohio for an exclusive on the water experience at Magee Marsh. After discussing water safety, everyone will be heading out on the lake in their sit-in kayaks for an hour and a half scenic paddle, where they will discuss water quality, habitat, and maybe see some wildlife up close. Paddling will take place from 9 – 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., and 1:30 – 3 p.m. This program is beginner friendly and completely free, everyone will be meeting at the north beach parking lot. Children must be at least 10 years old, able to paddle on their own and accompanied by an adult to attend. Preregistration is required and can be made by calling 419-967-3777. Fremont • Cowboy Princess Brigade: From 7 –9 p.m., at at Fremont Community Amphitheater, located at 315 Garrison Street. A little country, and a little bit rock and roll… An Americana, soul-roots, zydeco-punk, ska-jazz band and unforgettable experience. Costumes are encouraged, bring your chairs and blankets to sit on. There is no cost to attend. SUNDAY Catawba • Drafts with Dads: Beginning at 11 a.m., at Twin Oast Brewery, located at 3630 N.E. Catawba Road. Get ready to celebrate Father's Day with a swing. "Drafts With Dads" will be a fun-filled event held in collaboration with Coastal Swing, and give attendees and their dads the chance to bond over exciting golfing activities and challenges. MONDAY Huron • Women Who Roam: From 10 – 11:30 a.m., at Wyandot MetroPark, located at 5401 Cleveland Road. Join Erie MetroParks as it presents a welcoming space for women of all ages to explore the outdoors together. The hikes offer a safe and supportive environment, perfect for meaningful conversations as we journey through nature. Connect, unwind, and discover the beauty of the natural world alongside a community of fellow adventurers. Ages 18 years and older. Walk-ups welcome, no registration required and there's no cost to attend. WEDNESDAY Port Clinton • Evening at the Museum: From 4 – 7 p.m., at Catawba Island Museum at Union Chapel, located at 5258 E. Porter Street. Wish you could come see the museum in the evening instead of regular daytime hours? Back by popular demand, one Wednesday each month, the museum will be open for a fun evening at the museum. Admission is free for this event, as always during regular hours. • Whiskey and Whispers Bourbon Club: From 6 – 8:30 p.m., at Merara Tiki Lounge, located at 4046 E. Harbor Road. Immerse yourself in the rich flavors and aromas of carefully selected bourbons and whiskeys, handpicked by our expert connoisseur and collector, Julian Helsper, and co-hosted with Caroline Gatsch. A flight of four, 1oz pours will be offered for sampling. This is a "bourbon club" in name only, as these events are open to all adults 21+ and no RSVP is required.
