Pull up to car show, farmers market

FREMONT — Downtown Fremont Inc. will host its first Croghan Colonial Bank Farmers Market and the first Fremont Federal Credit Union Car Show of the season on the streets of downtown Fremont. It'll take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 21. Farmers and vendors will be selling produce and other unique items. Attendance at the farmers market and registration for the car show are free — and the events will happen, no matter rain or shine. Car show A check-in for the car show contestants will be on the day of the event. Check-in for participants will be at the Fremont Community Amphitheater, 209 S. Arch St. Car show participants can enter from the west at State Street to Park Avenue and from the east via Miles Newton Bridge to Birchard Avenue. The car show will begin at Birchard Avenue and continue to Hayes Avenue. Judging will occur at noon with trophies awarded shortly thereafter. Dash plaques and goodie bags will be given to the first 150 participants to pre-register and there will also be a 50/50 raffle and DJs/live music. Food trucks and special vendors will also be a part of the car show. T-shirts are available at Fremont Athletic Supply, 203 S Front St., in downtown Fremont. They do come at a cost, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the car show. People can call or text 567-342-4758 with questions. June 21 marks the first of three car shows hosted in Downtown Fremont this year. Other shows are scheduled for Saturday, July 5 and Saturday, Sept. 13. Farmers market The 2025 farmers market season will start at Croghan and Front streets. Vendors will continue through Birchard Avenue and will also be in the Brady parking lot.
