Free wrestling show comes to mall

PERKINS TWP. — A free Father's Day wrestling event takes place from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Sandusky Mall's center court, 4314 Milan Road (U.S. 250). "This is high-energy professional wrestling, presented by American Luchatore Entertainment," according to an event statement. "This live show promises to provide plenty of thrills for fans of all ages." The family-friendly show promises dads and their children will enjoy "some quality time" together during this Father's Day Showdown event. Desmond Carter, a representative of American Luchacore, previously offered some insight into what attendees can expect: "People should attend because it's very entertaining even if you are not a wrestling fan. The cheering and theatrics combined with the physical sport create an unparalleled experience. There's nothing like it. If you are a wrestling fan, it's a great chance to see the matches up close and personal. Wrestling companies like WWE provide a great experience, but sitting up close is something many people will never be able to afford."
