Partnership promotes worker

NORWALK — The Huron County Growth Partnership recently announced a promotion and a reassignment among its staff. These changes support scalable, focused impact, according to the partnership. Emily Baker Emily Baker received a promotion to the partnership's membership and events coordinator. Demonstrating attention to detail in her first year at the partnership, Baker "has a track record of successful events and an engaging attitude, which will support her new responsibilities of driving the growth and engagement of (the partnership's) membership base," according to an organizational statement. "This involves attracting new members, retaining existing members and maximizing their benefits and overall experience within the partnership community." Kayla Cross Project manager Kayla Cross is transitioning her project management expertise away from the focused work of economic development projects and applying her methods to operations for the partnership. She will "continue to scale the organization, pushing the still newly partnered organization to full alignment through operational excellence," the statement read.
