SANDUSKY — Cedar Point on Wednesday announced that its new Siren's Curse roller coaster will open to the public on June 28. For guests looking to get their first rides on North America's tallest, longest and fastest tilt coaster, Cedar Point has teamed up with Prayers From Maria in the nonprofit's fight against childhood brain cancer. Upon paying a $125 donation to charity, guests get access to Siren's Curse preview from 6-10 p.m. on Thursday, June 26. People can visit cedarpoint.com/events/sirens-curse-charity-preview to purchase charity tickets. Guests who attend the preview event get: • Park admission for the day • General parking • A single meal deal valid at most dining locations around the park • A special commemorative gift Siren's Curse will represent the 18th roller coaster in the 2025 lineup. This count does not factor in Pipe Scream. The ride will take guests up to speeds of 58 mph after dropping from the 160-foot tilt track. The ride will last 2 minutes when twisting through her nearly 3,000 feet of track that features 13 weightless airtime moments, two 360-degree, zero-gravity barrel rolls and a high-speed "triple-down" element with twisted and overbanked track. Guests must be at least 4 feet, or 48 inches, to ride. While so many elements of Siren's Curse bring something new to the park, the most exciting might be the onboard sound and lighting packages that are going to look fantastic at night.
