Bank appoints new administrator

FREMONT — GenoaBank recently named Ashley Hansen as assistant vice president and commercial loan officer for its Fremont branch. Hansen brings nearly two decades of customer service experience, including 14 years in the financial sector, where she worked in management, operations and commercial lending. In her new role, Hansen will be based in Fremont but will also provide commercial lending services at other GenoaBank branches across northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, the release states. "We are very fortunate and excited to have the opportunity to welcome Ashley to GenoaBank," bank president and CEO Martin Sutter said. "Hansen's extensive banking background and broad knowledge of the industry strengthen our core team as we work towards expanding our commercial portfolio." Hansen is married to her husband, Brock, and they have two boys. She is a graduate of Gibsonburg High School and attended Terra State Community College and Hondros College. She serves on several local boards and is currently president of the Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce. GenoaBank, founded in 1902, operates 11 branches and holds assets of $700 million, serving customers in Lucas, Wood, Ottawa and Sandusky counties, according to a news release.
