Ottawa and Sandusky counties Master Gardener classes

FREMONT — If you have a strong interest in gardening and enjoy helping others, you are invited to apply for Ohio State University Extension Master Gardener Volunteer training for Ottawa and Sandusky counties. The training will be Wednesdays beginning March 20 through May 15. The classes will be held principally at the Sandusky County Health Department Conference Room, 2000 Countryside Drive, Fremont. Some training may be held at other locations in the area.To become an OSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteer, you must attend all training sessions, pass examinations and volunteer 50 hours during a one-year internship. Volunteer hours consist of horticultural service to the community through Extension educational programming. The application along with a training fee of $175 must be received by March 13.
