Local bank names new president

BELLEVUE — First National Bank of Bellevue recently announced the appointment of Jeff Bechtel as the organization's new president and CEO. With nearly 40 years of experience in the banking industry, "Bechtel brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success to the role," according to a company statement. He previously served in leadership positions with Fifth Third Bank, PNC Bank, First Federal of Lakewood and First National Bank of Pennsylvania. "He was instrumental in growing, developing and leading a dedicated team of professionals and looks forward to sustaining the economic momentum of our region," the statement read. "His commitment to community banking and customer service aligns perfectly with the bank's mission to provide exceptional financial services to our community." "We are excited to welcome Jeff to our team," said Jim Stouffer, the chairman of First National Bank of Bellevue. Without question, retiring president and CEO Dean Miller has been the cornerstone of this institution for almost 20 years, and his legacy of customer care and success is greatly appreciated." Miller will remain on the board of directors and assume the title of president emeritus to assist with a smooth transition of leadership.
