'Annie Jr.' coming to Western Reserve

COLLINS — Watch the stars of Western Reserve take the stage in April. Western Reserve middle and high school students are set to perform the musical "Annie Jr." at 7 p.m. on April 4-5 and 3 p.m. on April 6 at the school's auditorium, 3841 U.S. 20 E., Collins. Tickets are available online now for each showtime. Tickets range from $10 to $16. An audience of all ages can watch as the cast performs classic songs like "Tomorrow" and "It's a Hard Knock Life." Here's what attendees can expect: • The show follows the life of Annie as she changes the lives of those she meets. • The cast is under the direction of Western Reserve's choral director, Deb Henry. • The set, costume and many other elements were created by a Western Reserve alumnus, Daniel Stober. "There's nothing more rewarding than returning to Western and working with these talented students, watching their creativity blossom, and helping them bring this timeless story to life," Stober said. The show also features a special family connection between an alumna and her daughter. A Western Reserve graduate, Jennifer Libertowski, once played the role of Miss Hannigan in 1995. Now she has the chance to watch her daughter, Katelyn Libertowski, follow in her footsteps as she plays the same role 30 years later.
