Bash headliners announced

PUT-IN-BAY TWP. — Headlining acts for the 2025 Bash on the Bay were recently announced. The country music festival, now in its eighth year, will feature Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt. Hunt will be joined by Russell Dickerson and Bret Michaels, who was the Saturday night headliner for last year's Ohio Bike Week block party. Bryan will be joined by Ashley McBryde. Bryan was scheduled to appear during the 2023 event, but his concert was canceled due to extreme weather. Bash on the Bay will occur on Wednesday, Aug. 13 and Thursday, Aug. 14, with Bryan appearing Wednesday and Hunt on Thursday. The festival began in 2017 as a one-day event. Toby Keith was the headliner that year. Over the years, headlining acts have included: Kid Rock, Jelly Roll and Blake Shelton. Bash on the Bay draws thousands of people to South Bass Island for the two-day event. The Put-in-Bay airport plays host for the event. Bryan, who has been named country music's top entertainer of the year numerous times, is known for his hits, "Do I," "Rain is a Good Thing" and "Someone Else Calling You Baby." Georgia-born Hunt signed his first recording deal in 2014. He is known for his hit songs, "Leave the Night On," "Take Your Time" and "Make You Miss Me."
