How can we stop Musk's scam?

We have been educated by various law enforcement agencies, our local Serving Our Seniors and many other agencies that we must always protect our private information from possible scammers. At the highest priority we are told to protect our Social Security numbers. We have heard the very disturbing stories when an individual does get scammed and the destruction, especially financially, is horrific. I would like to report that I have been scammed as well as hundreds of millions of fellow Americans. Over the weekend of Feb. 1, Elon Musk, along with his unvetted and untrained young staff at DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), were given the OK by the new Secretary of the Treasury, Scott Bessent, who follows the direction of President Donald Trump, to gain access to the Treasury Department's Federal payment system. This system is responsible for processing trillions of dollars spent each year including payments for Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, etc. The information they were able to access included our SS numbers, home addresses, medical histories and other sensitive data. This was done in violation of multiple privacy laws and other regulations. It is uncertain if anyone in DOGE, including Elon Musk, has the highest security clearance to access this information. I am angry and outraged and I hope all Americans feel the same. I am angry that proper protocols and training and security clearances were ignored. The end result, as stated above, was the access to all our private data. So I wonder who do I report this to and how do I proceed? This isn't a scamming outfit in some other distant country. This scam is taking place right in our country, right in Washington, D.C., right in front of us. We the People. I have called Ohio Sen. Bernie Moreno's office to report my concerns. I have tried to call our new senator, Sen. Jon Husted, on Feb. 2 and Feb. 3 but his Washington office's voicemail has been full and won't take anymore voicemails. I am at a loss as to what the next step should be. The meaning of the word SCAM in the Webster dictionary is "a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation". That is what this feels like to me.
