The last day of operations will take place on Friday, according to a Facebook post. "More details about the future of this location will be shared in the coming weeks." Opening locally in 2015, Cedar Point changed the TGI Friday's location at 2003 Cleveland Road W. (U.S. 6) and attached to Castaway Bay into Quaker Steak. The closest Quaker Steak to Sandusky can be found in Vermilion. Quaker Steak started in Pennsylvania in 1974 and quickly grew in popularity back in the early 2000s when it used to offer all-you-can-eat chicken wings. A special atomic hot sauce wings required a waiver to be signed before eating them. Shortly after Cedar Point opened Quaker Steak, the brand filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and was acquired by Travel Centers of America. Fast-forward to 2021 and the brand was again sold off to JDK Management.
