Put-in-Bay publicizes major 2024 events

PUT-IN-BAY — The Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau recently unveiled its 2024 calendar of major events. "From family-friendly celebrations to iconic island traditions, there's something for everyone to enjoy," according to a chamber statement. Here are the tentative schedule dates and event names: • April 28 — Whiskey Light Celebration • May 2-3 — Spring Club • May 13 — Blessing of the Fleet • May 17 — Island-wide Garage Sale • May 23-26 — Memorial Day Weekend • June 8 — Benson Ford Shiphouse Tours • June 9 — Put-in-Bay Pride • June 14 — Founder's Day • June 19 — Juneteenth at Put-in-Bay • June 21 — Ohio's Island Wine Festival • June 27-29 — Pirate Fest XVI • July 4 — 4th of July Boom at the Bay • July 18-19 — PIB Jeep Invasion • Aug. 17 — Benson Ford Shiphouse Tours • Aug. 29 to Sept. 1 — Labor Day Weekend • Sept. 5-7 — Broncos on the Bay, Historic Weekend • Sept. 6 — Art in the Park • Sept. 13 — Halfway to St. Patrick's Day • Sept. 16-18 — Put-in-Bay Road Races Reunion • Sept. 20 — Big Day at the Bay • Oct. 11-12 — Oktoberfest • Oct. 25 — Halloween at the Bay Some events, such as Bash on the Bay, have not been scheduled yet.
