A joyous holiday after-hours event

NORWALK — Those affiliated with the Huron County Growth Partnership extended a heartfelt "thank you" to those who attended the area chamber's recent holiday after-hours event at its offices in Norwalk. Among the event's highlights: Officials announced the winners of the partnership's silent auction fundraiser. "We were able to raise over $1,700 for Huron County Job and Family Services to provide for local families for the holidays," according to an organizational statement. "From the entire staff here at Huron County Growth Partnership, we want to say 'thank you' to everyone who graciously donated an auction item or basket. Every one of our members who attended and helped make it a great event and an incredible ending to 2024." The partnership then looked ahead to next year. "We aim to be a valuable resource to you, your businesses and your communities," the statement read. "Whether it's with our free professional development classes and programs, business after-hours networking events, helping to promote your community events or many of the other benefits we provide with your Huron County Growth Partnership investment, we are here for you."
