Time to take on Tilt

PERKINS TWP. — A massive family-first indoor entertainment center debuted this past week at Sandusky Mall. Tilt Studio, a business operating several of these fun centers across the nation, set up shop within a 52,000-square-foot space in a once-vacant storefront at this Sandusky-area shopping center on Milan Road (U.S. 250). More specifically, it's where Elder-Beerman previously operated from. It's accessible "from either the parking area or the mall's interior concourse," according to a mall statement. Right now, there are dozens of arcade games and pinball machines available. Coming soon, people can expect to see laser tag, four nine-hole blacklight mini golf courses, mini bowling, party rooms, a snack bar and even more arcade games. Similar to a place like Dave & Buster's, people can win tickets at these games, exchanging them for prizes. "Tilt Studio is a great place to visit for fun on a cold, snowy day or any day for that matter," mall spokesman Joe Bell said.
