He won $22,600 during Friday's airing, adding to the $79,299 Aten collectively banked during the past five shows."I went in hoping to get one win, so I'm doing better than I ever expected," Aten told the (Elyria) Chronicle-Telegram. "My friends and family have been over the moon, especially with the suspense of Monday and Tuesday."If Aten can win one more episode, he'll enter elite "returning champions" company. Less than 50 contestants in modern history have won seven or more consecutive episodes, according to stuarte.co, a website documenting "Jeopardy!" wins. The all-time wins record belongs to Ken Jennings, who scooped up $2.52 million during his unprecedented 74-show win streak.Aten, a 2000 Vermilion High School graduate, returns to battle two new contestants on Monday. The program airs 7:30 p.m. on CBS affiliates in both Cleveland and Toledo TV markets.
