Civista, Castalia Lions name Students of the Month

CASTALIA — Margaretta High School's James Fisher and Lydia Bias are the Students of the Month for December, as selected by Civista Bank and Castalia Lions Club. Both are seniors and members of National Honor Society.Fisher, the Lions Club Student of the Month, is the son of Charles and Jody Fisher. He has been involved in the International Club as its president, SADD, Peer Leadership, FFA, band, football, baseball, powerlifting, Big Brothers Big Sisters and Clothe-A-Child. He has been a Buckeye Boys State delegate, academic tutor and American Red Cross blood drive worker.Fisher plans to attend Ohio Northern University and major in the medical field.Bias, Student of the Month for Civista Banking Company, Castalia Office, is the daughter of Joe and Lisa Bias. She has been involved in student government, International Club, Leadership, cross country and track, and has also been a Buckeye Girls State delegate, Rotary Student of the Month, Ruriteen president, band section leader, swimming captain and a volunteer for the Lions Club and Boys and Girls Club.Bias plans to attend Bowling Green State University to major in communication sciences and disorders with a minor in Spanish.
