Local districts are welcoming students back for another school year. Here's a list of each district's first day of school. Bellevue • Tuesday, Aug. 20 Benton-Carroll-Salem • Wednesday, Aug. 21 grades 1-12 • Kindergarten will be notified by mail. Clyde-Green Springs • Tuesday, Aug. 27 Danbury • Tuesday, Sept. 3 Edison • Tuesday, Aug. 20 EHOVE Career Center • First day for new high school students is Tuesday, Aug. 20. • First day for returning high school students is Wednesday, Aug. 21. Huron • Thursday, Aug. 22 Margaretta • Tuesday, Aug. 27 — first day for students whose last names start with A-K • Wednesday, Aug. 28 — first day for students whose last name starts with L-Z • Thursday, Aug. 29 — second day for elementary students with last names starting with A-K, middle and high school students all in class • Friday, Aug. 30 — second day for elementary students with last names starting with L-K, middle and high school students all in class • Tuesday, Sept. 3 — first full day for all students Monroeville • There's a staggered start for students. Some start Wednesday, Aug. 21 while others will begin on Thursday, Aug. 22.
