Visit the 4-H ice cream booth

A part of the Erie County 4-H youth development network, the Oxford Hustlers 4-H Club organization — an area covering children who live all across Erie County and meet in Oxford Township — teaches leadership, citizenship and life skills. PERKINS TWP. — Will you be looking for ice cream during the Erie County Fair? If so, then the Oxford Hustlers 4-H Club has you covered with its annual ice cream booth! The club, which was founded in 1956, is the oldest running 4-H club in Erie County. The Oxford Hustlers began running the ice cream booth at the Erie County Fair in 1992 after taking it over from a local FFA group. That's more than 30 years of selling delicious Toft's ice cream to hungry fairgoers. The ice cream booth is staffed by the members of the Oxford Hustlers 4-H club with proceeds going directly back to supporting the club. Each club member works at least two shifts in the booth, learning responsibility, customer service, leadership and teamwork. The booth offers traditional flavors, such as strawberry, chocolate an vanilla but also a variety of other Tofts flavors, including butter pecan, cookies and cream, black raspberry chocolate chunk and blueberry waffle cone. Ice cream is sold by the bowl, and any flavor can be made into a milkshake. The booth also sells water and rootbeer floats. All are invited to visit the booth during the fair, purchase some delicious ice cream and say "Hello" to the Oxford Hustlers 4-H kids.
