Domestic violence, child porn suspects among 34 indicted

SANDUSKY — An Erie County grand jury indicted 34 people this month, including a man who allegedly severely assaulted a woman in January.Christopher Martin, 34, of Huntington Avenue, was indicted on three counts of first-degree misdemeanor child endangering and one count of third-degree felony domestic violence.Erie County sheriff's deputies took a domestic violence report Jan. 5 where a woman claimed Martin punched her head and body on several different days over the span of one week.Martin later turned himself in at the Erie County jail Jan. 25, where was released on his own recognizance.Another indictment involves a man already facing 14 felony sex charges involving children.Eddie Cox, 47, who's currently in the Erie County jail, was indicted on five counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor and 15 counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor.Cox was already indicted on the alleged rape of an infant. Perkins Ave., one count each of grand theft and burglary.• Brittney Roberts, 31, 200 block E. Water St., one count of assault.• Bryan Gardner, 30, 9400 block W. Ohio 113, Bellevue, one count each of felonious assault and domestic violence.• Raymond Caudill III, 30, 1600 block S. Forest Drive, one count of escape.• Alexis Danser, 30, 4600 block Mapleview Drive, one count of obstructing justice.• Kimberly George, 43, 600 block State St., Fremont, one count of theft.• Crystal Warren, 34, 2000 block Sherman St., one count of theft.• Jeremy Griffitts, 39, 300 block Jackson St., one count of theft.• Kory Brown, 39, 400 block Grant St., one count of theft.• Leroy Butler, 27, 1800 block E. Shoreway Drive, one count of domestic violence.• James Robinson Jr., 28, Chicago, one count each of failing to comply with a police officer, tampering with evidence and aggravated drug possession.• Jimmy Thompson, 25, currently in the Marion Correctional Institution, one count each of marijuana possession, marijuana trafficking, assault, aggravated drug possession, illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified government facility.• Leshawn Barclay, 27, Cleveland, two counts of improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle and one count each of operating a vehicle under the influence and failure to submit to chemical tests.• Jonathan Kimble, 34, 1000 block Wayne St., one count each of having weapons under disability and domestic violence.• Donald Seder, 56, 400 block Tiffin Ave., one count each of heroin trafficking and heroin possession.• Alberto Mendez Jr., 43, 1000 block Rawson Ave., one count each of heroin trafficking and heroin possession.• Charles Madzia, 25, 800 block W. Osborne St., one count of receiving stolen property.• Mason Pocock, 29, 1300 block Vine St., one count each of domestic violence and child endangering.• Brandon Green, 25, 2200 block Olds St., one count each of burglary and aggravated drug possession.• George Evans, 46, 1700 block Harrison St., one count each of having weapons under disability, felonious assault and domestic violence.• Joshua Miniard, 31, 1500 block W. Perkins Ave., one count of domestic violence.• James Armstrong Jr., 29, 500 block W. Adams St., two counts of breaking and entering and possessing criminal tools.• Taryll Tye Jr., 22, 1700 block Filmore St., four counts of retaliation.Five others were indicted in secret.
