10 scholarships awarded to Fisher-Titus families

NORWALK — During the recent Fisher-Titus Employee Children's Scholarship Awards Ceremony, 10 scholarships were awarded to children within the Fisher-Titus family. This scholarship provides 10 recipients $1,000 each in financial support for their higher education. Recipients are selected from the submitted applications by a committee of local citizens who have no direct association with Fisher-Titus. Fisher-Titus designates one of the 10 scholarships in memory of all employees who have passed away while still employed at Fisher-Titus. Special preference for this award was given to an applicant who is pursuing a career in health care. This year's recipients included: • Kyle Flewelling, son of Jenny Flewelling, coder in health information management • Jasmine King, daughter of Patrick King, director of cleaning services • Brycen Lantz, son of Sheri Lantz, physical therapy assistant in rehab-physical therapy • Joshua Nims Jr., son of Alisha Nims, manager of obstetrics • Sophia Ott, daughter of Heather Ott, staff nurse in obstetrics • Lindsay Roberts, daughter of Karin Roberts, director of volunteer services • Emily Skeel, daughter of Kim Skeel, physical therapy assistant in rehab-physical therapy • Ava Walton, daughter of Edie Walton, compliance specialist for compliance • Angela Williams, daughter of Gena Williams, staff nurse in obstetrics • Paige Wnek, daughter of Dr. Paul Wnek, Fisher-Titus Pediatrics — Norwalk
