Cast announced for new Harlequins show

SANDUSKY — Harlequins Sandusky Community Theatre recently announced the cast for its next production, "Stepping Out," described by organizers as a "delightful comedy." "Written by Richard Harris, the production tells of the attempts of a group of amateurs trying to overcome their inhibitions and left feet," the event statement read. "But before the dancing begins, dramas erupt, and it looks like they'll never triumph at their recital. Returning to the Harlequins stage are Pam Shirtz, Mary Malerich, Athena Schenk, Donna Sutter, Morgan Drabik-Hamshare and Heidi Sarvis-Sapp. Newcomers are Rylee Bledsoe, Dale Bledsoe, Corinne Howery and JaNay Darden Billups. The show will be the directing debut of Curtis Brown. Pam Shirtz will choreograph. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on April 26-27 and on May 3-4. There will also be matinees at 2 p.m. on April 28 and May 5.
