Social Butterfly logs onto digital scene

SANDUSKY — Just like how a caterpillar turns into a butterfly, a local woman aims to help businesses flourish, growing and transforming their brands for the better. Shelbi Neidler recently started The Social Butterfly Sandusky, a social media management and digital marketing agency promoting companies through platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and others. The 2013 Perkins High School graduate unofficially began this pursuit about six years ago, assisting her parents — Randy and Stephanie — who run Eats N' Treats on East Perkins Avenue. "It really gave me the creative freedom to do what I wanted, and I learned a lot by trial and error," Neidler said. "I really enjoyed it. A lot of my friends and family had been talking to me to pursue this, and I decided to give it a try." Neidler's services revolve around exposing a business through digital platforms. This ranges from posts, videos and other engagements with prospective or existing customers. She also offers printing services for items like business cards. "Everything I do is very transparent," Neidler said. "I am always going to be very transparent to what I'm doing with my clients. There is always two-way communication with me." She continued: "At the end of the day, I am working for someone else, and it's their business, not mine. I want them to know and have access to what is being posted on their behalf." Neidler is accepting new clients. Right now, beyond Eats N' Treats, some other businesses and organizations she works with include Best O's Pizza, a new restaurant recently opening in Danbury Township, and Turn Up For Trizzy, a nonprofit in memory of the late Trevor Reiderman, a 2015 Perkins High School graduate. Regarding the name The Social Butterfly Sandusky: • The part "social butterfly" — "I've always been a talker, so I've been called a social butterfly and wanted to incorporate social in the title," Neidler said. "That would make it an easy link to what I do." • The part "Sandusky" — "I'm proud of where I'm from."
