Family-fun center coming to mall

PERKINS TWP. — A massive family-first indoor entertainment center is coming to the Sandusky Mall. Tilt Studio, a business operating several of these fun centers across the nation, intends to build a 52,000-square-foot facility within a vacant storefront at this Sandusky shopping center on Milan Road (U.S. 250). More specifically, it'll go inside a space previously home to Elder-Beerman. "It will be accessible from either the parking area or the mall's interior concourse," according to a mall statement, noting Tilt Studio should open by sometime later this year. The statement goes on to summarize Tilt Studio's offerings at its other locations. "It features attractions like black-light laser tag, bumper cars, amusement rides, mini golf plus over 150 arcade and video games," according to a company statement. "Tilt Studio has party rooms for birthdays, group gatherings and corporate events. The flexible event spaces accommodate parties of nearly all sizes." As of today, it's not known what specific attractions mentioned could find their way to the forthcoming Sandusky site.
