PANDORA — Young Pandora found herself back at the shelter after being an emotional support kitty for about 3 months. She did her 'job' perfectly. Her new family had a life change and could no longer care for her. She is one of the sweetest kittens you'll meet. Pandora loves affection and is quite chatty. She adores people, other kitties and even dogs! Pandora just turned a year old and really deserves to be in her very own home. RUTHIE — Miss Ruthie was in a loving home for almost ten months but came back here a few months ago. Her mom just adored her but found out early on that she is allergic to cats. She tried everything to make it work but the allergies were just too severe. It truly broke her heart to bring Ruthie back to the shelter. Now at just two years old, Ruthie is again searching for a family to live with forever. Ruthie is sweet and laid back. This pretty girl will do well in any home. RUBY — Ruby is a gorgeous 2 1/2 year old kitty. She arrived here after spending her first year in a hoarding situation. We thought we had found her a fantastic home last year but the new owner was not able to care for her any longer so she arrived back at the shelter. Ruby is loving and social. She is not the biggest fan of other kitties (she actually prefers dogs!) but she does well if they leave her alone for the most part. Ruby will do fantastic in a calmer, laid back home. HARRIS — Handsome Harris just breaks our hearts. This 2-year-old Boxer mix is beyond fabulous. He was adopted from the shelter when he was just a young puppy but came back here after a year and a half with a family we thought would be forever. Harris adores people of all ages, especially kids. He does have a bit of separation anxiety so a home where he is not alone all day every day would be ideal. Harris is loving, sweet, goofy and sure to brighten up anyone's life. The Ottawa County Humane Society was established in 1976. It is now open for regular hours at 2424 East Sand Road, Port Clinton. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The phone number is 419-734-5191.
