Cavs make Summer League final

LAS VEGAS — It took overtime, but the Cleveland Cavaliers' perfect Summer League campaign continued Sunday to secure a spot in the championship game. Cleveland (5-0) defeated Brooklyn, 102-99, following the extra period. They will meet the Utah-Houston winner in the Las Vegas Summer League final on Monday night at 9 p.m. The championship game is televised on ESPN. All five Cavaliers starters were in double figures Sunday afternoon, led by Isaiah Mobley, the older brother of Cavs star Evan. Mobley finished with 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists. This year's second-round pick, Emoni Bates, scored 20 points, was 4-for-5 from 3-point range and had a thunderous dunk in overtime. Sam Merrill had 19 points, including 4-for-13 from 3, Craig Porter Jr. had 12 and Luke Travers added 11 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. The Cavs led Sunday's game by 11 points after three quarters before Brooklyn rallied to force OT. Bates made two field goals in overtime, with Travers and Mobley each contributing a basket.
