IRIS AND GIZMO — We just know the right person is out there for Iris and/or Gizmo. While the 2-year-old Dalmatian/Pitty mixes are siblings, they are not so bonded that they need to stay together. Both are super sweet and enjoy people of all ages. They have been with us at the shelter for so long, they will definitely need some brushing up on their manners but nothing major. Iris and Gizmo play well together although a bit rough, they will need proper introductions to new doggy friends. After arriving at the shelter just over a year ago, these two deserve a home of their own. WENDY & WHITNEY — Siblings Wendy & Whitney arrived at the shelter as tiny orphans back in August of 2022. Yes, almost a whole year past. We can't figure out why they are still here. Both are affectionate and sweet. They love the company of their kitty roommates and lounging in a window. Do you have room in your heart for one or both of these pretty girls? The Ottawa County Humane Society was established in 1976. It is now open for regular hours at 2424 East Sand Road, Port Clinton. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The phone number is 419-734-5191.
