Mini golf returns to CP

SANDUSKY — Guests visiting Cedar Point will, once again, be able to enjoy a game of mini golf now that it has returned to the arcade. Located in the lower level of the Coliseum Arcade, the big arcade on Cedar Point's main midway, people can putt a ball through obstacles with the goal of getting the lowest score. Cedar Point used to have a mini golf course in the Challenge Park located outside the Magnum entrance. Opened in 1992, the Adventure Golf course offered two 18-hole layouts, one for easy and one for more advanced skill levels. Adventure Golf and the rest of the Challenge Park were removed following the 2016 season to make way for the expansion of Cedar Point Shores water park. The new course is named the Cedar Point Boardwalk and Beach Mini Golf Course. While the course lacks any terrain, the nine-hole course allows guests to experience an old-time classic at the back of the arcade. The cost is $10 per guest, and balls are retrieved from an electronic dispenser. At the end of the course, guests can putt the ball up into a high-striker hole that takes the ball, and the clubs are then returned to the ball dispenser area.
