Schedule set for Sandusky Pride

SANDUSKY — Sandusky Pride returns for the sixth year this Friday and Saturday. This weekend's festival will involve a variety of events, from food to concerts to a parade and more. Here's a schedule of what people can expect: Friday • Pride Festival: From 2 p.m. to midnight at Schade-Mylander Plaza, 108 W. Shoreline Drive, there will be vendors, food trucks and a beer truck. The event is family-friendly. • Drag Entertainment: On the main stage at Schade-Mylander Plaza, 108 W. Shoreline Drive, drag performers will put on performances throughout the day. Performers include Amber Stone, Adonis Lee O'Hara, Chi Chi Dela Cruize, Gizelle DeVaux, Riley Poppyseed, Solo Jackson and more. • Hooked Like Helen: At 8 p.m. on the main stage, the music duo Hooked Like Helen will perform. • PVRIS: At 9 p.m., pop-rock performer PVRIS will perform as the headlining act. The show is free. Saturday • Pride Festival: From noon to midnight at Schade-Mylander Plaza, 108 W. Shoreline Drive, there will be vendors, food trucks and a beer truck. The event is family-friendly. • Sandusky Pride Parade: At noon, the annual pride parade will start at the corner of Warren and Washington Streets. The parade will go west on Washington Street, North on Jackson Street and East on Market Street. The parade will end at the festival entrance at Columbus and Market Streets. • Drag Entertainment and Music: On the main stage at Schade-Mylander Plaza, 108 W. Shoreline Drive, drag performers will put on performances throughout the day. Performers include Amber Stone, Adonis Lee O'Hara, Chi Chi Dela Cruize, Gizelle DeVaux, Riley Poppyseed, Solo Jackson and more. Live local music will perform as well. There will be a tribute to Tina Turner. • Downtown Block Party: From 9 p.m. to midnight, the Downtown Dance Block Party will be in Schade-Mylander Plaza, 108 W. Shoreline Drive.
