Tarina Sidoti partners with Berkshire

PERKINS TWP. — Realty Executives Select Group Ohio, owned and operated by Tarina Sidoti, is now part of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Professional Realty, 1907 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky After purchasing the Realty Executives franchise nearly five years ago, Sidoti grew the agency from four agents to nearly 20. "With record numbers last year, selling over $65 million of homes as a brokerage and selling nearly $26 million herself, she learned very quickly that she had to either focus on what she loves: selling and training or owning and managing a brokerage," it read. "It was an easy decision for her, so she started vetting large, successful, renowned brokerages and was very proud to announce her partnership with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Professional Realty in April," the statement read. "Now she can focus on her clients, selling and mentoring and leave the operating responsibilities and brokerage duties to the talented professionals at Berkshire." Sidoti spent months vetting Ohio Brokerages, both independently/locally owned and national franchises. "She knew going the national franchise route was for her," the statement read. "She felt there was an importance in being backed by one of the most well-respected companies in the world (and) not to mention the backing of very successful and experienced brokers." Sidoti looks forward to the new opportunity. "This industry is very rigorous and always changing, and it feels good having the tools and backing of such a reputable and powerful brokerage," she said. "I still have 20 years I want to invest in my career, both selling and mentoring, and Berkshire just felt perfect right from the beginning," Sidoti added. "Having a relocation department, property management, including VRBO/airbnb, national exposure and a whole team of brokers and experienced agents was definitely something I wanted to be part of. I also appreciate and respect the accountability, compliance and high standards at Berkshire." Sidoti said she won't change how she operates in a business sense with customers. For instance, her fees won't increase. She will also continue to be competitive in the market with commission and now has more time to focus on clients and less on administrative work. "She can continue to maintain her five-star rating," according to an organizational statement, which points to her brand's new colors: black, white and Tiffany blue.
