Sandusky County YMCA announces 2023 campaign

FREMONT — The YMCA of Sandusky County has launched the public giving portion of its 2023 Annual Campaign. The YMCA of Sandusky County raises funds yearly to support its "For All" mission. This annual campaign provides financial support to various individuals to ensure that economic factors are no longer a barrier to one's happiness. Last year, the YMCA of Sandusky County raised over $68,000 and supported 2,200 individuals. BJ Duckworth, senior director of operations, said this money provides "working families affordable childcare and discounted swim lessons." "Contributions for the Annual Campaign come from corporate support, foundation grants, donations from Y members and the community as a whole," Duckworth said. As part of this year's Annual Campaign, the Y will host its 9th Annual "Y For All Golf Outing" on Friday, June 23, presented by Warner Mechanical. "When you give to the YMCA of Sandusky County's Annual Campaign, you make it possible for children, families, and adults to have access to Y programs vital to our community," YMCA of Sandusky County CEO and Fremont native Jeremiah Wagner said.
